Wiccan Rites
This section of the ULC Monastery's Training and Education section delves into the occult rites Wiccans practice.
Overview of Wicca
Wicca is a duotheistic religion where practitioners worship a female deity, the Triple Goddess, and a male deity called the Horned God. While these figures are the figureheads of Wicca, they are thought to only be mere facets of a greater being. Wicca also embraces other theological creeds, ranging from monotheism to atheism.
Wicca is perhaps best know for the ritualized "magical" practices, which are largely influenced by the ceremonial magic of centuries past. The practice of Wiccan magic is a liberal morality code known as the Wiccan Rede, although it is not adhered to by all Wicca practitioners.
