Religious holidays are celebrated by millions of people from every different faith and culture around the world every year. Religious holidays are any day or days - or sometime in some cultures or faiths - that can last a week or even more - that holds special meaning for people in which special observance is warranted. This holidays can take on the guise of anything from historical observances to annual feasts of sacrifice, resurrections, reincarnations, births, deaths and deity celebration - there is a holiday for every culture almost every day of the calendar year somewhere around the world.
Holidays that are linked specifically to a particular faith and are often celebrated with prayer, feasts and festivals though some are also more sombre occasions that have funereal and other more sober rites associated with them - often as a combination of cultural and religious observance.
